About This Station

**790 AM – KCAM** is a 5,000-watt community radio station serving the Copper River Valley in Southcentral Alaska, and is known as "The Voice of the Copper River Valley." Located near Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the station first went on the air in March 1964 during the Great Alaska Earthquake. While remaining true to its Christian heritage, KCAM offers programming for the entire community, including national and local news, local weather, community announcements, and family and children's shows. Its music mix spans country, contemporary Christian, and oldies, all broadcast in English. The station also encourages listener support through donations and maintains an active Facebook page for updates.
