About This Station

Boston Praise Radio & TV (BPR&TV) is a non-profit, Black-owned Christian multimedia network based in Boston, Massachusetts, broadcasting 24/7 in English. Founded in 2010 as an internet radio station, it grew to include satellite, AM, and its own licensed FM signal—WBPG-LP 102.9 FM—making it the only church-based, Black-owned FM station and multimedia network in New England. The station features over 25 broadcasters delivering gospel music, live talk radio, and local and national news tailored to Boston’s Black community. Its programming is faith-centered, with Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit at the forefront, and the station also focuses on multigenerational mentorship and addressing social issues. BPR&TV is available via multiple internet radio platforms and will host a monthly telethon on August 15, 2026, streamed live on its website.
