About This Station

**CR 94.4** – also known as **Campus & City Radio St. Pölten** – is the educational radio station of the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten (USTP) and a free community radio station for the city's residents. Broadcasting terrestrially on 94.4 FM in St. Pölten and the surrounding area for over 20 years, as well as via online live stream, it serves as a hands-on training ground where students learn moderation, journalistic programme design, and audio production in a digital studio. The station is non-commercial, non-partisan, and inclusive, operating as a member of the Association of Free Radio and offering free workshops that let citizens bring their own topics and concerns on air. Its programmes have won the Adult Education Radio Prize several times, and notable Austrian radio presenters—including alumni from Ö3, Kronehit, FM4, and Life Radio—began their careers here.
