About This Station

**Gem FM 95.1** is a volunteer-led community radio station based in Bowen, at the top of the Whitsundays, Australia. Now in its third decade of broadcasting, it offers a wide range of music—with an easy-listening focus—alongside local information and messages for the Whitsundays and beyond, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The station recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, introduced a new logo, and now streams via Triton Digital, with live shows available on demand. It also proudly supports local initiatives, including the Whitsunday Regional Council and the Australian Space Agency's historic rocket launch.
