About This Station

**KUAR 89.1** is the flagship public radio station of Little Rock Public Radio, a service of UA Little Rock, broadcasting NPR news, Arkansas news, classical music, and jazz to central Arkansas. As an NPR affiliate, the station delivers in-depth national and international journalism alongside robust local and regional coverage, including the weekly *Arkansas Newswrap* and daily arts and culture roundups. The station also produces the award-winning podcast *Track One*, which earned a national Edward R. Murrow Award from the RTDNA. Broadcasting in English, KUAR complements its news-focused schedule with classical and jazz programming, and is currently transitioning to a new studio location, which may cause occasional on-air interruptions.
