About This Station

Valley Heritage Radio 98.7 CJHR is a non-profit, community-owned and operated, English-language radio station serving the Ottawa Valley from its studios near Renfrew, Ontario. The station broadcasts traditional country, bluegrass, fiddle, and Ottawa Valley music, with a strong mandate to promote Canadian and local talent through its programming. Run entirely by volunteers, it is known as "The People's Voice of the Ottawa Valley." Its 13,000-watt signal covers most of the valley, and the station is also available worldwide via live internet streaming.
