About This Station

A Fine Jazz Gumbo Radio is a Swiss online station devoted to jazz and its many flavours, from traditional New Orleans sounds to R&B, soul, gospel, blues, swing, stride and boogie-woogie. The music is curated by Nicolas Gilliet, former artistic director of the JazzAscona Festival and now head of NicOLAsound Music Management, drawing on his private collection and tracks received from musicians. The station aims to promote contemporary artists, especially those performing in Ticino, at the Jazz Cat Club and at Swiss festivals. It is made possible by private supporters and donations, and its website is presented in English, Italian and German, reflecting its Swiss base.
