About This Station

**ALL FM 96.9** is a community radio station based in Manchester, UK, operating under the motto “The Real Voice of Manchester.” True to its tag as a community station, it is run “by the community, for the community,” with over a hundred active volunteers presenting and producing live shows. Its output is largely music-led but also includes foreign-language programmes and shows by and for carers, people with mental health issues, disabilities, older people, and younger people, all broadcast in English and other community languages. The station is notable for training over a hundred new people each year in radio and podcasting, and has won the National Community Radio Award for ‘Radio Station of the Year’ twice (2019 and 2024), as well as receiving The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2020.
