**Ambiant Sleeping Pill** is an ad-free, beat-free internet radio station from the United States, dedicated to ambient music for sleep, meditation, study, and relaxation. Its programming is carefully selected to be tranquil, deep, and serene—less distracting than silence, yet unobtrusive enough not to keep you awake. Launched in January 2013 by a former Rutgers college radio host, the station grew out of a personal iTunes playlist and now also serves as a platform for the founder's own music and small record label, Stereoscenic. Streaming in English with no spoken breaks or commercials, it offers both 128 kbps and 256 kbps MP3 streams, and its philosophy explicitly positions the music as a natural alternative to sleeping pills.
