About This Station

**Bath Sound** is a community radio station for Bath, UK, building on over 55 years of broadcasting heritage as a hospital radio service (formerly Bath Hospital Radio and BA1 Radio). Broadcasting in English, it delivers more than 30 hours per week of lively, intelligent and topical programming presented by a dedicated team of volunteers. The station’s eclectic output spans popular and classical music, local music-making, arts, culture, events, and conversations with the people and institutions of Bath. As a registered charity (No. 1168453), its mission is to connect Bathonians through shared cultural experiences, from cinema and theatre to sport and live music.
