About This Station

**Centreforce Radio 883** is a UK-based independent dance music station that describes itself as one of the largest global dance music radio stations, broadcasting on DAB+, TuneIn Radio, online, via its mobile app, and on 883TV. Its output is in English and centres on electronic dance music, with a schedule featuring DJs such as Billy Daniel Bunter, DJ FILPY NYC, DJ Jonay, and Slipmatt. The station traces its roots to the late-1980s/early-1990s Acid House and Summer of Love era, when it was one of the UK's most influential underground pirate radio stations and a launchpad for prominent DJs and record labels. After returning to DAB in July 2018, it now claims to reach over 16 million listeners across 192 countries, while also running related ventures such as Centreforce Records, the 883 Academy, and live events.
