About This Station

HBSA Hospital Radio is a volunteer-run hospital broadcasting service based at Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, and has been serving patients and staff in Ayrshire hospitals since the mid-1970s. The station provides free music and chat 24 hours a day via the Hospedia bedside system in Crosshouse Hospital and Ayrshire Maternity Unit, and is also available to listen to live through its own radio player and the TuneIn app. Entirely run by unpaid volunteers, the service is a registered Scottish charity (SC017119) and relies on fundraising and membership support.
