About This Station

Heartland Bluegrass Gospel is part of Heartland Public Radio, a listener-supported, commercial-free broadcaster based in the United States. The network airs Classic Country and Bluegrass Gospel music 24 hours a day across several channels: HPR1 (traditional classic country from the mid-1940s to the early 1970s), HPR2 (classic country from the early 1970s to the early 2000s), HPR4 (soul-soothing Bluegrass Gospel), and HPR3, a seasonal channel featuring Country Christmas Classics beginning around November 1st. All channels keep talk to a minimum and are funded almost entirely by listener donations, with pledge drives held twice a year in spring and fall. The website also remembers the late Dolly Parton, inviting listeners to hear her music on HPR1 and HPR2.
