About This Station

**KANM Student Radio** is the student-run, freeform radio station of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. For over 50 years, it has served as a platform for students to share their passion for music, focusing on promoting sounds that "transcend commercial taste" for a global listening audience. The station offers a diverse, non-commercial playlist spanning genres like punk, electronic, shoegaze, and experimental rock, as showcased in its "Latest in Mandatory" music library. Beyond broadcasting, KANM produces live studio sessions filmed in its station library, publishes a semesterly zine called *Oscillations*, and invites new member applications each semester.
