About This Station

KEC56 NOAA Weather Radio was a public weather radio station serving the United States, providing continuous forecasts, warnings, and weather information from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The associated website, PlanoWeather.com, was a community-focused project maintained by the Daly family for over 17 years as a free public service. The station and its data transmission are now discontinued, as the family has made the difficult decision to end the service. It recommended Weather Underground as an alternative source for weather data in the Plano, Texas area.
