About This Station

**otohama Coastal Soundscape** is a live ambient audio stream originating from the International Coastal Research Center (Otsuchi, Iwate), operated by The University of Tokyo. The stream provides a 24-hour soundscape of the coastal environment, featuring stereo microphone recordings from both the air and underwater. Designed for relaxation, this natural sound feed captures the calming ambiance of the Japanese shoreline and is part of the university's Cyberforest environmental monitoring project.
