About This Station

**Radio Northsea UK** (also known as RNI Radio Northsea International) is a not-for-profit internet radio station with a proud offshore and "free radio" heritage, describing itself as a modern-day pirate station broadcasting unofficially on FM, AM and shortwave across the UK, USA and Europe. The station plays hit music from the 50s through the 90s, alongside a selection of the best tunes from the past two decades, with tags highlighting pop, top 40, and the 60s–90s eras. Live DJ shows air every evening and on Sundays from 2–11pm, featuring presenters such as Chris James, BJ Walton, Moofie, Steve Jenner and Nutty Norah, and listeners are encouraged to join in by requesting tunes and getting on-air mentions. The website also remembers station manager Dave Nicholas, who passed away in February 2022, and notes that RNI is Alexa-enabled for easy listening on smart speakers.
